A Fat lot of good


Two organisations that I have never heard of, the World Obesity Federation and Consumers International,
are telling us that the food industry needs to be regulated like the tobacco industry as 'obesity poses a greater global health risk than cigarettes'.

Quite right too; smoking only kills half the people who do it, compared with the 100% death rate for eating.

Also, it has been scientifically proved that passive eating is causing unnecessary death to thousands as they are forced to absorb stray calories from food being eaten by those around them.

In one tragic case, a victim of passive eating died from the effects of living over a chip shop even though he only ever ate lentils and rice.
